Messerschmitt Bf 110C-3
for Combat Flight Simulator 3
The Bf 110C-3 was a Zerstorer (or Heavy Fighter) for the Luftwaffe during 1940. Replacing the Bf 110C-1 and C-2 after the attack on Poland, it played a major role during the Battle of France and into the Battle of Britain. During this time in the war, the Bf 110 was still proving very successful. It's strengths lay in its superior armament, good range, and excellent dive and climb abilities. This particular machine served with 2./ZG 76 based at Jever in Friesland.
Installation
Simply unzip to your Combat Flight Simulator 3 main folder, and all the files should be placed correctly. Sounds are currently aliased to the Ju 88. For some outstanding sounds for the Bf 110, go to the CFS3 sounds section of www.Sim-Outhouse.com, and look for "realsound605a1bf110engines.zip" by LuftwaffeOberst. You won't be sorry that you did.

Flight model by the Avhistory group
Special thanks goes out to the Avhistory team for agreeing to do the airfile. There was no chance of me working up an airfile that would come anywhere near the quality that these guys can do. I would also like to thank Mathias Pommerian and Sergey/Arak for their help in identifying some of the gauge locations for the Bf 110C-3.
